This is the feature event of the Festival and will provide a truly great climax to the week-long celebration of the life and music of Éamonn Ceannt. This exciting outdoor show in Eyre Square will feature a stage performance by the specially formed Éamonn Ceannt Quartet comprising pipers Tommy Keane, Marion McCarthy, Peadar Giles and Cormac Cannon playing music evoking the famous Leo Rowsome Quartet. Songs of rebellion will be performed by singers Don Stiffe, Greg Cotter and Éamonn Ó Broithe. The event will culminate with the arrival of pipe bands to join the musicians and singers.
