Jim Malcolm Sings the Songs of Robert Burns

In the year Guinness was born so was the great Robert Burns, the Scottish ploughman poet who gave the world “Auld Lang Syne” and “My Luve’s Like A Red Red Rose”. Paying tribute in song and with plenty funny stories is one of Scotland’s finest interpreters of Burns, Jim Malcolm. Three times nominated for Scots Singer of the Year in the Scots Trad Music Awards, Jim Malcolm has been singing Burns alongside his own prizewinning songs for two decades and he has a voice which, in the words of one critic, “will just melt you in your seat”. Jim’s was the signature voice of the world-renowned Old Blind Dogs for eight years, and his masterful way with guitar and harmonica, alongside his brilliant sense of humour, make for a highly entertaining evening.
