No strangers to Galway the mighty Kinlochard Ceilidh Band from the beautiful Trossachs make their 3rd visit to the Sessions. The band has toured on every major continent. Highlights include representing the UK at the Auckland International Folk Festival and Disneyworld, Orlando, Florida as part of the Millennium celebrations. The band’s reputation as a leading exponent of a more contemporary, up-tempo style of Scottish Country Dance music has become well-established on the international scene. Though they specialise in Scottish Country Dancing their repertoire also includes foxtrots, quicksteps, modern waltzes and Latin American rhythms-versatility is their byword! They will be joined by two of Scotland’s most excellent dancers, Scottish National Champion Nerissa Home and Eileen MacRobert.

Stirling Showcase (Festival Club): A fantastic opportunity to experience the full gamut of Scottish Culture. The fare includes “haggis, neap and tatties”, the odd dram, ceilidhe dancing, piping, highland dancing, storytelling and some weird and wonderful characters and creatures.
